The following are actual labels found on consumer products available today…
On a child’s Superman costume:
Wearing of this garment does not enable you to fly.
On packaging for an iron:
Do not iron clothes on body.
On a sleep aid:
Warning: May cause drowsiness.
On Sainsbury’s Peanuts:
Warning: Contains nuts.
On a Swedish chainsaw:
Do not attempt to stop chain with your hands or genitals.
What’s scary is that each of these labels was likely the result of a consumer accident and/or lawsuit. So what idiot tried to stop a chainsaw with his genitals? Ouch!
